Flaxseed Smoothie
- ¼ cup flaxseeds
- 1 cup soy milk
- ½ sliced fresh banana
- ½ sliced frozen banana
- optional: ¼ - ½ cup berries
Soak the flaxseeds overnight in water to cover. In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend at high speed for at least 1 minute. To thicken, add more banana. If desired, fruit juice may be substituted for soy milk.
